Boom.

August 2nd, 2008

Ran out of bandwidth again a few days ago. I actually came over here to check up on PaletteSwap yesterday, completely missing the fact that just a day before, I’d’ been unable to access it. My mind is strange, I know.

Anyway, the main cause of my site using so much bandwidth is The Sims 2 Studio, which may or my not be moving to a new server soon (with my help, hopefully) so will free up loads of space for everyone else. :P

When I First Came Into This World…

May 29th, 2008

…I’m certain God, or whichever other deity looked at me and decided “this one’s got no purpose. He’s useless.”

’cause that’s how I feel right now. Utterly useless.

“Everyone has things they blog about. Everyone has things they don’t
blog about. Challenge me out of my comfort zone by telling me something
I don’t blog about, but you’d like to hear about, and I’ll write a post
about it. Ask for anything: latest movie watched, last book read,
political leanings, thoughts on TV, favorite type of underwear, stories
I’m working on, travel, etc. Repost in your own journal so that we can
all learn more about each other.”

An Open Message To All On My Blogroll

I need a picture for your entries - I’ve taken screenshots of your pages, but you may want to give me pictures yourselves.
 I’m trying to make them about 100×100.

It’s not necessary,
 but having one person with a picture is a little out of place. :P

Advanced Universe

ARD: Advanced Relocation Device - attaches self to preferred limb and provides relocation abilities between the two realms, and teleportation in both.

Mark III “Lynx”: Often referred to as the Lynx Suit. A much simplified form of mech, normally referred to as a “Swift” class. Fits users like a suit, and is equipped with the following:
* One Terratek Mark VII Electroblade, retractable, mounted at the wrist.
* Two footmounted Jump Jets
* Four shoulder-mounted, belt-driven machineguns.
* State of the art “bubble style” PSS (Personal Shielding System)
It is mainly utilised in anti-mech combat. It’s speed and maneuveurability, including the ability to fly, makes it very easy to target and disable weakpoints in the opponent’s mecha. However, it is also

For once, I’m extremely pleased with myself - I hacked my motto to randomly change everytime someone refreshes.

I just mauled  a banner ad script to do it… and now I need to learn how to turn this into a proper WordPress plugin.

Maybe then I could distribute it. :D

Music is in my ears…

April 19th, 2007

…and my heart is singing. I am unusually happy for some reason, and…well, it may be because it’s Spring!

I don’t know if it is because I broke up with Hayley…being single doesn’t bother me anymore, for now. :D

I have an unusual ear for music. I like anything, as long as it’s good music, and the sound of a piano playing solo absolutely mesmerises me. This could be because my mother was, once upon a time, a music teacher - she did private lessons in piano at our house. The sound has always enchanted me… and when I overheard my new “friend” playing it, it got me. I’m still trying to work out what she was playing - I have heard it, but can’t name it.

Or, periodically, even remember the rythmn… Stupid memory.
