Ben poked me. Again.
So, we had the “wedding”. It was as hilarious as I thought. Imagine a bunch of 15-year-olds, a slightly wonky chuppah held up with chairs and bits of wood, and a slightly bewildered Mrs Hibberd. Amazing.
I’m posting this from ScribeFire on Kubuntu. I just installed both today, so I’m having a good play. Kubuntu is pretty good - better than openSUSE in some ways, but not as good in others. Compiz doesn’t work, to start with, but the graphics drivers went in smoothly. The first major hitch I had was in convincing the computer to use both my screens at the proper resolutions - although my primary one worked on it’s own, it reset itself to 640×480 when I turned on the other screen. Very odd. Eventually, though, with no small amount of beating, I got it working,

I think you’ll find that it’s a ‘Chuppah’. A hookah is one of them huge bong-type things that you get in Eastern countries.
And I’m gonna pretend that I understand the second bit.
